I have three completed manuscripts. Fracture Line, Descent and Burnt.
All three novels take place in a fictitious ski resort in the Purcell Mountains, British Columbia. Stone Mountain Resort and Holden, British Columbia do not exist. The areas around them, such as Fernie and Kicking Horse, are real.
I’ve done my best to research the novels and have spoken to many experts. I have interviewed bootfitters, firefighters, EMTs, doctors, and ski resort employees, and I must thank everyone that has helped me in my journey to write. These incredible people have all spend time and effort to provide me with the information I needed. All mistakes are mine.
I couldn’t have written these novels without my circle of friends. My amazing group has spent hours proofreading and commenting. It’s difficult for a friend to critique another’s work, but the input is invaluable. Thanks to all those, and you know who you are, that spent hours and hours working hard.
My strongest supporter is my husband, Mathew. He has encouraged me from the very first sentence and continues to be enthusiastic as I travel through the journey of writing novels.
If you are interested in publishing the novels please contact Margaret Hart at the HSW Literary Agency.
